Results of AGM Voting 2021

An AGM conducted via email was again necessary this year, because of concerns about Covid risks to Members attending a conventional physical meeting.

A total of 182 eligible C&DNHWA Members, (149 scheme coordinators & 29 Deputies) were issued with voting forms and associated documents by email on 17 March. The Deadline for completion was 8 April 2022. Quorum for an AGM is 20 Members. Voting forms were returned from 34 eligible Members representing 18.5% of the Membership, which is down from 27% last year. 28 Members who voted at last year’s AGM did not do so this year.

Votes cast this year were collated by Jean Robinson on behalf of the Committee. The results were as follows:

a) Minutes of AGM 2021 - Motion Carried with 33 Members voted to accept the minutes of that meeting as an account of proceedings at last year’s virtual AGM. (33 Votes For, 0 votes Against, 1 Abstention);

b) Trustees’ Annual Report 2021Motion Carried. The Trustees’ Annual Report was unanimously accepted (34 Votes For, 0 votes Against, no Abstentions)

c) Accounts for 2021Motion Carried. The Accounts, as audited, were unanimously accepted (34 Votes For, 0 votes Against, no Abstentions);

d) Re-election (en-bloc) of Committee Members willing to stand again in 2022 - Motion Carried. Unanimously agreed (34 Votes For, 0 votes Against, no Abstentions);

e) Appointment of Independent Examiner For 2022 Motion Carried. Appointment of John Austin agreed to be Independent Examiner for the accounts 2022 (32 Votes For, 0 votes Against, 2 Abstentions).
