The Choral Booster Club
As stated by the bylaws, the purposes of the organization are to provide organizational and financial support of the Cane Bay High School choral music ensembles; to promote and encourage school board, administrative, faculty, student, and community interest and support of the Cane Bay High School choral music department; to promote the development of student leadership and musicianship; to foster a closer relationship between home, student, and choral department faculty through parental involvement. Under the provisions specified in the bylaws, this organization is governed by the elected Executive Officers and the membership, with the cooperation of the school’s Choral Director. The Choral Booster Club operates strictly for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501 © (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All parents and legal guardians are full, voting members of the organization.
In support of the chorus director, the main functions of the Boosters are to:
Assist in the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a yearly budget for the Cane Bay Choral Program inclusive of student accounts and Chorus Booster funds.
Disseminate information to parents and chorus supporters.
Serve as a liaison between the school, school organizations, the community, and the local school board by collecting and disseminating information about chorus activities and achievements.
Coordinate fundraisers to provide monies for the choral program and to provide opportunities for students to offset their uniform purchase and participation in trips.
Make recommendations regarding a parental involvement/networking plan to ensure that all parents are informed about and have an opportunity for a meaningful input into Cane Bay High Chorus Booster decisions; and
Foster school spirit throughout the Cane Bay community.

Charms is now Cut Time!
If you missed it…Charms has been purchased and changed to a program called CUTTIME. After reviewing the platform, Mrs Hardwick and I are VERY EXCITED to get everyone working with this new program. This will streamline event notifications, financial records and payment and much, much more!
One of the nicest things about this program is that there is no login information to remember! Once you get set up through a magic link, you are all set and can return to view the information and receive notifications throughout the year!
In order to get our parents set up on this platform, we need some information from you. Please take about a minute to fill out this form and ensure that your information is correct. Please double check phone numbers and email addresses as this is how the program communicates. After that, be on the lookout for a text or email from CUTTIME and you can get set up!
CLICK HERE TO FILL OUT THE CUTTIME FORM
Once you are in, you can go ahead and pay fees for the year if you wish, or “Share the cost” by inviting family members to add to your CUTTIME accounts. Choral fees HAVE been added! They are $100 for ASPIDIS and SONUS and $150 for CHORALE and VOX. CONCERT CHOIR has a $50 Choral Fee. These fees are due by September 13th and a $25 late fee will be added for all accounts not paid by this deadline.
Cane Bay Choirs are going to Washington D.C. in 2026!
Please check back for more info.

TJ Adams was a member of the Cane Bay Choirs who passed away in 2011. TJ was a great member of our choir who always brought a positive attitude to our rehearsals. In addition to singing, TJ enjoyed playing the piano, and would often come to the choir room just to play. Despite his autism, TJ was able to overcome his disability and bring great life to our choir. He loved music, and our choir. To honor TJ’s memory, the Cane Bay Choral Booster Club raises funds each year to provide a Scholarship to a graduating Senior of the Choir to continue participating in music at the Collegiate Level. To date we have offered 10 $500 scholarships to students who continue their participation in a Collegiate ensemble and we would love to expand this. Please consider supporting this cause and helping us keep TJ’s love of music alive.
