The Cane Bay Choirs traveled to Newberry College to compete in the Palmetto State Choral Championships. Cobra Chorale and Vox Bellator competed against choirs from all across the state and achieved great results! For the competition they sang two prepared pieces for a panel of judges and then sightread a piece of music given only six minutes to study it. The results?
Vox Bellator and Chorale both earned 1st place in their respective divisions, earning the Treble Choir and Mixed Choir State Championships! This is the second time that we have achieved this as we also did this in 2019. Overall, Vox was the 3rd highest scoring choir and Chorale was the highest scoring choir in the state! We are so incredibly proud of the work of our students, and we hope that you will celebrate this incredible accomplishment with us!
