Cost
Dress (Required for 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B)- $80
Pearls for Honor Choirs (3A/3B)- $10
Tuxedo (Required for 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B)- $125 (includes jacket, pants, black shirt, tie)
Black shirt and Tie (Returning Members who already have a tux) -$30
Attire will be purchased through the choir program this year! For new students as well as returning tux-wearers who need a black shirt and blue tie/ returners who need a new dress, they must go through our Attire Chairperson.
CONCERT CHOIR ATTIRE: concert choir members are responsible for procuring their performance attire.
-Tenor/Bass/Gender Neutral: black, long sleeve, button down collared shirt, black dress pants (no denim), black socks, black dress shoes (no athletic shoes, toms, boots, etc).
-Soprano/Alto: long black dress (please no sequins), OR long black skirt with a black blouse. OR an all black pant suit. Black, closed toed shoes. Performance attire should confine to the rules of the school dress code. Additionally, students from Cane Bay Middle who have a blue concert dress may wear that as well until their new performance attire is in.
Tenors/Basses/Gender Neutral: Black Tuxedo jacket, Black Tuxedo shirt, Black tuxedo pants with a blue straight tie, black dress shoes and black dress socks. Students will be measured and fitted at the beginning of the school year.
Students must provide their own black dress shoes and socks.
Sopranos/Altos: full length concert dress. Students will be measured and fitted for concert choir dresses at the beginning of the school year. Singers are required to wear black close toed flats. Shoes cannot have a heel. Boots, tennis shoes, toms, heels, etc, are not allowed for a performance.
Dresses and tuxes may need to be altered at the student’s expense.
The attire is YOURS TO KEEP. As young singers grow, they may need new uniforms. IF a uniform is lost or damaged the student will be responsible for its replacement.
All students are expected to keep their uniform clean and pressed.
Students who are not dressed appropriately for a performance will not be allowed to perform. This includes, but is not limited to, missing ties, damaged or overly wrinkled attire, missing shoes, wrong color or type of shoes, incorrect hair styling, overly flashy jewelry, etc. Please contact Mr. Bennett or Ms. Hardwick with any questions or concerns.
