BIRMINGHAM MAINLINE CANAL | WALSALL CANAL | DAW END CANAL | ANGLESEY BRANCH CANAL | WYRLEY AND ESSINGTON NATURE RESERVE ROUTE (DISUSED BRANCH)  | CHASEWATER

The Wyrley and Essington Canal runs from the Birmingham Mainline Canal in Wolverhampton through Wednesfield, Willenhall and Bloxwich where it meets the Walsall Canal at Birchills Junction before continuing its journey to Brownhills via Pelsall, At Pelsall the Canal meets with the Cannock Extension Canal and then at Brownhills meets the Daw End Branch at Catshill Junction, The Canal continues a short way to Ogley Junction where the Wyrley and Essington terminates and the Anglesey Branch continues a short way to Chasewater.

WYRLEY & ESSINGTON CANAL (Part 6) AND THE ANGLESEY BRANCH CANAL My last walk along the towpath of the Wyrley and Essington Canal, we continue from Catshill Junction in Brownhills and make our way to Ogley Junction where the Wyrley & Essington now terminates, then continue by walking the full length of the Anglesey Branch Canal to Chasewater
