As educators, we know that curriculum consistencies are important: who can access them, how are they accessed, and whether the information can be interpreted and applied correctly. The inconsistencies in curriculum access and presentation across Canada demonstrate the critical need for a consistent framework for students, parents, and educators to access curriculum information. It is also important for this content to be accessible in a digestible way.

Our proof-of-concept website presents a platform to deliver a national K-12 curriculum framework that captures information from each province and territory consistently, thus improving access and usability. We are not suggesting all curricula be the same; instead, having territories and provinces present their curriculum in a consistent framework would allow for identifying parallels and divergences in content, promoting mobility opportunities and educational harmony across our nation.
