Chiron the Centaur: Activities Director

This chat takes 30 years after the books.

For those who don't know, Camp Half-Blood is the Greek demigod training camp located in Long Island Sound in New York. The camp is under the direction of the god Dionysus, who everyone calls Mr. D, and a centaur named Chiron. The camp is said to be the only safe place for demigods, as it is protected by magical borders in order to keep monsters out.

The half-bloods live in cabins, one assigned to each god and goddess. (For the most part.) There is also an archery field, a sword fighting arena, a climbing wall with lava for training, an amphitheater, stables, an armory, and the Big House. After accomplishing some of the biggest quests of their lifetime,

Annabeth pursued a degree in Architecture and engineering while Percy stayed at camp. He was taking on lead roles at Camp Half-Blood, helping to train the new and incoming demigods. After Annabeth graduated, she joined Percy at camp and they soon became Co-Camp Directors of the camp. They married shortly afterwards.

Many of the others who Percy and Annabeth met live around the country. Grover still lives around Camp, helping to organize and train new satyrs to go out into the world to find new half-bloods and to get them to camp safely. Jason and Piper moved to San Fransisco to live in New Rome (Camp Jupiter), Frank and Hazel moved into a small house in Northern Maine, starting a restaurant. Leo started his own mechanic business in New Jersey. Even after these thirty years, these friends stay in contact and get together at least once a year.

Thirty years ago, they saved the world.

If not once, twice.

Now their legacy lives on...

But just because they saved the world twice, doesn't mean that the world doesn't need saving again.

Thirty years gives plenty of time for new problems to arise. Demigods still face the threats of monsters - and death. Camp Half-Blood continues to be a safe haven for these demigods. Yet, the world will need a few strong leaders to rise up to the challenge - to take on a quest - to save the world.
