Inflammamouse

Inflammation is a critical aspect of numerous human diseases. Inflammatory processes are critical in the clearance of many pathogens. However, chronic inflammation can also drive the pathology of many human diseases. To better understand these inflammatory processes and how they occur in the context of disease, we have developed a mouse which expresses a biosensor of inflammation that allows us to monitor the development and resolution of inflammatory responses in mice over time. By using these mice in the context of established disease models, we hope to identify opportunities to modulate inflammation in the treatment of human diseases.
