About Us

Camberwell Music Society (CMS) was formed in 1963 and is one of Australia’s oldest music societies. We are a non-profit organisation, dedicated to presenting an exciting array of classical music performed by national and international artists of the highest calibre.

The Society presents concerts at reasonable costs in an informal and  friendly atmosphere. The intimacy of our concerts enables audiences to immerse themselves in the performances and to interact with the artists over refreshments provided after each event.

From the President...

Reading the 2026 season’s program fills me with great optimism.  We have such a wonderful series of concerts for you.  Please don’t hesitate: renew your subscription now, or become a subscriber if you have not been one already, or you have dropped out recently.  For a ridiculously small price, you get the glorious music that this brochure advertises, as well as the chance to enjoy refreshments with other music lovers, and the musicians themselves, after each concert.  Our venue is always convenient, despite the loss of some adjacent parking.  I look forward to seeing you at Concerts at the Junction in 2026.
