24 February - Mozart and Mendelssohn
Internationally renowned Australian/British Violinist, Director and Concertmaster Rachael Beesley is guest concertmaster with numerous European orchestras and is one of the world leaders in the field of historically informed performance. She is joined by acclaimed pianist, Coady Green a ‘virtuoso pianist with sensitivity, intelligence and charm’ (Musical Opinion, London) in a program of works by Mozart and Mendelssohn.

5 May - Firebied Trio
CMS is delighted to welcome back the one of Australia’s pre-eminent chamber ensembles, the Firebird Trio, whose performances reflect the energy, colour and splendour of The Firebird, Stravinsky’s iconic 1910 ballet. Join pianist Ben Martin, violinist Curt Thompson and cellist Josephine Vains as they charm us with piano trios by Mozart, Faure and Lili Boulanger.

Following on from their success at the 2025 Brunswick Beethoven Festival, pianist Elyane Laussade along with friends from the Melbourne Symphony, Orchestra Victoria and the Melbourne Conservatorium, reprise their acclaimed performances of two iconic quintets by two of the great masters from the Viennese Classical period. Beethoven and Mozart’s piano and wind quintets are genre-defining chamber works, full of the joys of springtime that will be sure to delight CMS subscribers.
