Being backstage and doing wardrobe for Heathers was a fantastic experience where quick changes were less than 30 seconds and the wigs were huge and had high maintanance.
(To the right stands character Heather Chandler with her huge 80's wig)
My most exciting quick changes was when Verionica's mom had to change into Miss Flemming (Portrayed by Cambell Hale) in less than 60 seconds
American Buffalo was an interesting less whimsical production that I've worked with wardrobe on. It was a production where the groovy clothes, greasy hair, and bushy mustaches had to be accurate to the time period. This was a more realistic show where we even used accurate hair grease to slick back the hair, in a 70's fashion.
American La Rhonde by Steven Dietz
She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen was an imagintive and detailed focused performance that had many intricate costuming pieces. It was placed in a half reality and half fantasy world where the costumes and makeup had to fluctuate between the two worlds.
