About Us

The Camerado Springs Middle School Band Program serves approximately 70 students each year. Ensembles include concert band, symphonic band, advanced jazz band, and beginning jazz band. Our talented young students work extremely hard and spend hours in preparation for performances. In the past, our concert and symphonic bands have played for hundreds at school concerts and performed the National Anthem at a Sacramento River Cats baseball game. Our advanced jazz band attends several jazz festivals in the greater Sacramento area, and both jazz bands also perform pieces at the school concerts. We also have two oppurtunities during the school year for band students to connect with the Ponderosa High School Bruin Bands.

Support

The band is supported by the Camerado Music Booster, a 501c3 non-profit organization. Please join the Boosters and help us provide the best band experience for our kids! All members volunteer their personal time to provide support to the band program.

Monthly booster meetings are open to all and usually occur one Monday each month at 5:30 p.m. in the band room at Camerdo Springs or on Zoom. Check our calendar for exact dates.
