TRASH AND YARD WASTE
Trash service is provided every Friday throughout the year and every Monday and Friday during the summer months (starting Monday after Memorial Day and ending Labor Day week). Yard Waste service is performed once every two weeks and generally starting the week of April 15th and ends in mid-December. During the off-season, please do not leave your yard bags on the curbside. Please use the regular trash to dispose of your yard waste.
Yard Waste follows the recycling week at certain times of the year and generally is performed on Wednesday or Thursday (weather permitting). All limbs and branches must be broken down to 3 ft. sections and tied in a bundle or they will not be picked up.
RECYCLE PICKUP SCHEDULE
Recycling Pickup Service is provided every other Friday throughout the year. Waste Management accepts the following recycle items: RIGID PLASTICS / BOTTLES,METALS which include Tin cans, Aluminum cans, steel cans, PAPER / CARDBOARD which include Office paper, Magazines, Flattened cardboard,Newspaper, Phonebooks, Flattened cereal boxes, Junk mail, Paperboard, Flattened snack boxes, GLASS which include Food containers and jars, Soft drink and beer bottles, Wine and liquor bottles. Do not place your recycling in plastic bags. Plastic bags and styrofoam cups and containers, such as egg cartons, and hoses are not recyclable. Residents should refer to Delaware's DSWA website to determine the best way to dispose of hazardous materials and other recyclables not accepted by Waste Management. Residents are responsible for bulk trash pickup. Contact Waste Management directly. Bulk items should not be left on street. You will pay Waste Management directly for the service. Camelot residents are not restricted to using Waste Management. You may also use other vendors such as 1-800-GOT-JUNK, or those recommended on NextDoor such as Blue Hen Disposal or GFL. There are other services such as the Bagster where you can buy the bag at Lowe's and then it is picked up by Waste Management.
