Ingredients
12 oz of Trader Joe's frozen mango chunks defrosted (1/2 bag)
1 can (approx. 8 oz) of 100% mango juice
pinch of sea salt
8 oz of simple syrup
1/4 cup finely chopped fresh mint
Process
In a blender, mix the defrosted mango chunks with the mango juice.
Add the sea salt and simple syrup. Blend until smooth.
Pour mixture into your ice cream maker. Halfway through the freezing process, begin to add the mint, a little bit at a time, until you can see that the mint flakes are distributed throughout.
Scoop sorbet into containers and freeze until you are ready to eat.
Makes approximately 2 pints. Note all measurements are negotiable.
