Golden Spike Award.  

The Front Range Division held a recent layout tour and submitted the layouts for Golden Spike Awards.  Not only did everyone have a great time, but the layout owners get a nice thank you from the NMRA in the form of the Golden Spike certificate!  Thanks guys!

Merit Awards

Pike’s Peak has held a recent contest with NMRA judging and I am expecting the paperwork to arrive soon for some Merit Awards.  Even if you are not entering a model for the contest, you could possibly improve your modeling just by reading and understanding the model contest judging guidelines: https://www.nmra.org/sites/default/files/2006-judging-guide-lines_0.pdf
