NORTHERN WYOMING - DIVISION 14

It was not a sure thing at our fall meeting as to whether this Division would continue as an active Division.  Trying to find someone to assume the superintendent position is becoming difficult.  At the last minute, Harold Huber accepted the responsibility for one year to give the division members some time to sort things out.

SHERIDAN MODEL RAILROAD ASSOCIATION

This club held an annual train show on the Saturday before Thanksgiving.  The weather was pleasant and the attendance was better than expected with 194 individuals coming to see the trains run.

The Black Hills Extension is almost finished with the cement plant now in operation and shipping loads out for the operating session.

We held our first ever Christmas get-together with eight members with their wives attending dinner at one of Sheridan’s better establishments. This get-together went well, so I would expect that we would have another one again next Christmas.

CENTRAL WYOMING MODEL RAILROAD ASSOCIATION

This club held an annual train show on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following Thanksgiving.  Attendance was over 250 individuals.

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday of every week in December this club puts on a presentation of a railroad-based theme at the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center in Casper.  This year they had an attendance of over 1800 individuals.
