As a snow hydrology student research assistant and study abroad enthusiast, I apply my passion for water resources research to challenges across the globe - from the snow in Switzerland to the deserts in Jordan. This work is essential in moving me toward my ultimate goal of contributing to water resources issues across all nations, climates, and people as well as illustrates my love for nature.
Through my experience as an Engineering Peer Educator, I mentored first year students through their transition into college and engineering by facilitating a positive and productive community environment. This identity highlights my passion for mentorship and giving back to the UW engineering community which has supported me throughout my time in college.
As a result of my experiences abroad, I have surveyed civil infrastructure including ancient Roman fountains and Irish public transportation in order to better understand how these international systems function and how their strengths can be applied elsewhere. This aspect of my leadership is integral in developing leadership skills across the world and demonstrates my curiosity and drive to learn.
