’Atzalynas” progymnasium is in Telsiai, Lithuania located near lake Mastis, which is in the town. There are about 22 000 citizens. There are about 420 students and about 40 teachers in our pro- gymnasium. We’ll involve about 250 kindergarten and primary school students aged from 3 to 11 y.o and about 20 teachers on this project. One of aims in our school is cultural education. That aim is included to school educational plans through art education: art, music, dance, technologies. The goal of the school is to develop the artistic direction in developing curricula and improving pupils' skills in dance, singing, art and technology through integrated lessons, art days, creative workshops, parents’ days, fashion presentations, excursions. Healthy life style is propagated in our school also.Most of this is reflected in the extra-curricular activities. Our pupils participate not only at school, but also, in regional, national art, drama events and become winners on them. There are 2 teachers expertise in art and frequently teachers from the Academy of Arts placed in Telsiai suport us. We also take integrated lessons in primary in English.

Our students and teachers have vast experience in participating in international projects through eTwinning.

In our school we have two programs - Pre-school education program. Programm is licensed in and First stage of primary education (Grades 1-6). They’re licensed. The school has 12 teachers and 9 technical staff. The level of education at school is good enough. Perse Primary School is a small village school with a small amount of state and municipal funding. In this project our school can contribute experience in Etwinnig tools, because our teacher Liga Kraukle is Etwinning Ambassador in Latvia. Līga is an experienced educator, eTwinning project promoter and mentor who regularly shares his experience and leads lessons with other eTwinners. Liga, as a Ambassador, promotes the idea of eTwinning and disseminates examples of good practice in eTwinning projects.
