This is a series of digital low poly portraits of personal friends of mine which were shot with an IPhone 7 and edited using Photoshop. One very interesting part of this project for me was coming to the realization that color can incredibly effectively be used to show or imply structure within an art piece.

My low poly portrait "Unicorn Dreams" was recently put on exhibit on Boise State Universities' campus as part of an on campus art competition.

I hand drew the deep sea creature to the right using a drawing tablet with Photoshop and spent some time coloring and filtering it, ultimately settling on this finalized dark variation. I then incorporated this illustration into my music video animation project for my class.

The primary goal of this project is to take a picture somewhere locally (in my case, Guffey's Butte, Idaho) and use Photoshop to completely change its landscape in some way.
The primary goal of this project is to take a picture somewhere locally (in my case, Guffey's Butte, Idaho) and use Photoshop to completely change its landscape in some way.
I ended up taking a picture of Guffey bridge at Celebration Park in Southern Idaho and turning it into a volcanic landscape. I did this by creating a "lava texture" brush in Photoshop from scratch and adding smoke/fire particles to add depth and realism. The danger sign was actually from a picture I took on a family vacation in Hawaii and ended up being a nice touch to add immersion.
