Environmental Management Services
May 2022-July 2022
As a research intern, my role primarily revolved around hands-on fieldwork. Operating within the Mississippi marshes, I participated in eradicating an invasive Apple Snail species by eliminating their eggs and capturing the snails themselves aboard a boat. During these field excursions, I was responsible for inputting locations of actions and other data. Subsequently, I would transform the collected data and perform calculations through Excel.
Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport
March 2021-October 2022
During my time as an ambassador, I engaged in a dynamic role that involved both passenger interaction and administrative support. My responsibilities encompassed welcoming travelers embarking on their journeys and those that were returning. Beyond these interactions, I provided aid in the management office, addressing tasks and offering assistance. My role extended to handling phone communications, transferring calls, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for travelers seeking information about the airport's facilities and services.
