Housing. Transit. Affordability.
The Coalition for Affordable Housing and Transit is a nonpartisan 432-supporter organization comprised of Durham organizations focused on affordable housing and transit for the city's most vulnerable residents and workforce.
The Coalition, commonly known as CAHT, seeks to proactively and holistically examine housing and transit issues using evidence-based data and community outreach information. CAHT also encourages collaboration among its supporters to unite the community in solutions brought before Durham's City Council.

CAHT has a reputation for working on affordable housing and transit issues that are forward-looking. The organization uses its supporters’ expertise to provide City Council and the community with answers to complex problems.
