Cordella Lyon is a Registered Nurse and Program Coordinator of Preventative Screening at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas. She received her Associates Degree from Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica NY, and her Bachelors of Health Care Administration from New England College. She is a MA candidate for Emergency Management and Homeland Security at Arizona State University.
Ms. Lyon implemented the Suboxone Therapy Program at Freehold Primary Care in New Jersey to treat patients with opioid addiction in a private in- patient setting. She is currently employed at Baptist Hospital where she manages their Opt-Out Routine Screening, and Linkage to Care program for HIV, HCV and Syphilis in their eight county service area.
During her term as chairperson of the Tri County Center for Elimination of Disproportionalities and Disparities, Ms. Lyon initiated meaningful change in cross a system approach to client and patient care by building private public partnerships to address health care disparities locally and statewide.
Ms. Lyon has also been a regional consultant for the office of Minority Health, is a Regional Co-Chair for the Texas HIV Syndicate. She is an active member of the Steering Committee to End the HIV Epidemic in Texas, BISD Strategic Planning Task Force, The Texas Collaborative for HIV Education and Prevention, VOAD, Golden Triangle Emergency Nurses Association, and the Association of Nurses in AIDS Care -Gulf Coast Chapter.

Jon Reaud is a graduate of Lamar University with a BS Degree in Child Psychology. In addition to his BS Degree he is also an ordained minister.
As a Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, he served our country from 1969-1975.
Professionally, he is the Executive Director of the Reaud Foundation, Inc a local family charity focused on “Improving the lives of the less fortunate in SETX”.

She began her career in health care initially by working a Medical Surgical Unit at Park Place Medical Center in Port Arthur Texas in 1989. Since that time she has logged over 30 years of experience in various areas of patient care and management; this includes, but not limited to: 25 years of Management and Mid-Management experience including house supervision and Clinical Coordinator. In addition LaTasha works as a Nurse Home Visitor for the City of Port Arthurs’ Nurse Family Partnership Program.
Her certifications include; Trauma Nursing Core Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Current Texas Professional Licensure, several certificates of achievement from FEMA, Certified CPR Instructor and several hours towards a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration/Family Nurse Practitioner. LaTasha is also a member of ZETA PHI BETA Sorority.
LaTasha assist Judith Smith RN, BSN Director of Health Services, with overseeing the following services of the Health Department: Tuberculosis, Employee Health Services, Public Health Preparedness, Environmental and Consumer Health, Laboratory, WIC (Women, Infants and Children) Services, Vital Records, Nurse Family Partnership, Primary Health Care, and Adult Services (Sexually Transmitted Diseases).
