Jane Allison

Hi! My name is Jane Allison. I began working at C3 Kennels in the Spring of 2025, and it has been an adventure ever since! I first reconnected with Alexandria after college when I saw that she was offering dog training lessons. I was looking for obedience training for my German Shepherd, with the goal of sending him to a program as a service dog. After beginning lessons and seeing what is possible with training, I chose to pursue owner training instead. I'm grateful for that change because it fully introduced me to the training world, and showed me what can be achieved with hard work and consistency!

I use the education from my bachelor's degree in psychology, along with coursework in behaviorism and animal behavior, to better understand the principles of training. Over the summer, I fell in love with stock dogs after watching them work and began working a Border Collie named Chip. We competed in our first cattle trial in October. He is now a member of my pack and I look forward to competing in more cattle dog trials soon! I love all forms of training, from fast-paced stock work, to slow and steady obedience; I am now venturing into other dog sports as well. God always answers prayers and opens doors that we never even thought to pray for!

I enjoy all aspects of kennel life. I value using my organizational skills, handling daily kennel tasks, and even the everyday routine parts of the job. Whether it's structured training or running with the dogs on farm runs, I genuinely enjoy the work. I've also begun teaching lessons under C3 Kennels as an Assistant Trainer, and I'm grateful to now help others grow. I have a passion for learning and am always advancing my own knowledge so that I can help others reach their full potential!
