In this course, you’ll move from small whoops to larger, more capable drones. You’ll design your own frame, choose the right materials, select motors and propellers, and learn how weight and geometry impact flight performance.
Working with your team, you’ll CAD model and manufacture a custom frame, then solder and mount the electronics. As you connect motors, ESCs, receivers, and video systems, you’ll see how each design decision affects how the drone flies.
With your drone complete, it’s time to tune PID settings, configure flight modes, and take to the air. You’ll practice flying a faster, more powerful quad through gates and courses, then put your design to the test in races and challenges.
