Meet & Greet at Burrill Park
The Meet & Greet area was where Burrill Park’s characters, hosts, and performers stepped out of the rides and shows and straight into the crowd. This part of the park was designed like a mini land of its own, with colorful sets, props, and an image carousel that showed off photos of the cast so guests knew exactly who they could meet that day.
At the top of the page, the picture carousel highlighted the Burrill Park cast in action. Guests saw them posing with families, laughing with friends, and standing in front of the park’s biggest attractions. These photos worked like a preview reel for the day’s meet and greets, giving visitors a sneak peek at the characters and letting them pick who they were most excited to see in person.
All day long, different characters appeared on a rotating schedule in the Meet & Greet zone. Some were themed to the rides, like high‑energy coaster hosts, water park lifeguard characters, and game‑booth style performers. Others were classic Burrill Park personalities based on Coach B’s stories and web projects, bringing the classroom jokes and assignments to life. Each character had a themed backdrop so every photo looked like a real Burrill Park poster or souvenir image.
Lines were set up just like ride queues, but with a more relaxed vibe. Clear signs listed the character’s name, appearance times, and any special notes, like “photo only,” “autographs available,” or “group photos welcome.” A daily schedule board helped guests plan their day so they could ride attractions and still make it back in time to meet their favorite cast members.
Burrill Park photographers were stationed throughout the area to capture the best shots. They took posed photos, fun action shots, and candid moments like high‑fives, fist bumps, and silly faces. Guests with a Picture Pass could scan their pass after each photo session to save the images to their account, while everyone else could still view and purchase prints or digital copies. Guests were also encouraged to pull out their own phones for selfies and group photos with the cast.
The environment in the Meet & Greet area felt like a live show happening around you. Background music played, announcements highlighted upcoming appearances, and staff kept everything organized while still keeping the energy high. Between scheduled sets, there were sometimes surprise mini‑interactions, like quick dance breaks, short games, or call‑and‑response chants with the crowd.
The layout of the Meet & Greet space made it easy to move from one character to the next without feeling crowded. Shaded spots and seating areas nearby gave families a place to rest while they waited for the next set of cast members to arrive. It was also a popular meeting point during the day, since it sat close to some of the main paths between rides, restaurants, and shops.
Whether someone wanted a classic smiling photo, a funny pose, or a whole group shot with the cast, the Meet & Greet area delivered. For many guests, this was where Burrill Park felt the most personal, because they weren’t just watching the park from the outside – they were part of the scene. The photos from this area ended up on lock screens, social media, and even school projects, showing off that they had been right in the middle of the Burrill Park world.
Overall, the Meet & Greet at Burrill Park was all about creating those signature theme park moments: standing next to your favorite characters, getting the perfect picture in front of a themed backdrop, and walking away with memories that felt just as important as any ride or show in the park.
