Retirement FAQ

What happens to Personal Days?  Personal days are not rolled over into Sick Days.  If you don't use them the year you retire, you lose them.  If you intend to take off any of the last days of school, plan for that and make your request to Dr. Wagner as early as possible.

When will I receive payment for unused Sick Days?   Payment for unused Sick Days and your final two months' pay (July and August), all come in the June 30 paycheck.  This often bumps you up a tax bracket, so you pay more taxes than normal.
