General & Endodontic (root canal treatment)

Treatment of tooth decay with white fillings

Root Canal (Endodontic) Section

Contemporary Endodontic (Root Canal) Treatment can save a persons tooth from being removed. A tooth with deep decay, deep cracks or one that has been knocked (trauma) can be saved using new techniques in endodontic treatment.

Technology and training, as lead to better cleaning & shaping of not only the main canal/s but also previously un-treatable lateral and accessory canals. These un-reachable canal "off shoots" in the past were unable to be cleaned and this lead to failure of treatment and tooth loss. The bottom x-ray shows a lateral canal (red arrow) that has been cleaned and filled.

P.U.I (Passive Ultrasonic Irrigation) and Warm thermoplastic obturation allow for better cleaning and filling or irregular shaped teeth and root canals. This increases our success rate and means we are able to say YES to saving more of our patients teeth, more often.

Key Features

  • We can mostly eliminate post treatment discoloration/staining and avoids the need and costs for additional cosmetic treatments.

  • We use the latest and most advanced file systems, instrumentation and materials

  • We aim to perform keyhole style root canal treatment. The aim is to perform the treatment with less removal of your natural tooth structure. This helps maintain strength and longevity as a strong tooth lasts longer than a weak tooth.
