Senior Rugby

Senior rugby remains the heartbeat of our game in Buller. Today, our senior competition is represented by two proud clubs – White Star Rugby Football Club and Westport Rugby Football Club. While Old Boys is no longer active at senior level, its contribution to Buller rugby remains an important part of our history.

Buller Rugby is continually exploring opportunities to strengthen and grow the senior game. Alongside competing in the West Coast competition, 2026 has seen Buller teams join Tasman competitions for the first time, creating exciting new opportunities for players, coaches, referees, and volunteers.

Whether you're keen to pull on the boots, help from the sidelines, coach, manage, referee, or volunteer in any capacity, we'd love to hear from you.
