Connect

A legacy event called Project Homeless Connect (PHC) is designed to link people experiencing homeless to services offered in the community. PHC events have been held all over the country since 2004. The event is part of a national movement that is often linked with local 10 year plans to end homelessness. The goal of Project Homeless Connect is to assist homeless individuals and families with accessing multiple services to help them become stable and assist them on the path to obtaining permanent housing. While many very valuable and comprehensive services have historically been made available at past PHC events, actually “connecting” people experiencing homelessness to housing has been a challenge.
