STEP ONE - PLANNING (Day 1)
Choose your team
Find inspiration from others
Prioritize the purpose, goals, and outcomes
STEP TWO - ADMINISTRATION CONSIDERATIONS (Day 2)
Define your audiences' needs and attributes
Identify your resources for startup funding, costs, budgets, and sustainability
STEP THREE - SPACE DEVELOPMENT (Day 3)
Identify space options, availability, and limitations
Determine low-, medium-, and/or high-fidelity options
STEP FOUR - ACTIVITIES AND ATTRIBUTES (Days 4 and 5)
Consider goals/purpose - learning/tinkering/demonstrating/playing
Identify relevant and essential standards/KSABs/models/competencies
Create activities aligned to goals/purpose AND relevant and essential standards/KSABs/models/competencies
Identify HOW students will demonstrate and represent what they've done in the space based on goals/purpose
STEP FIVE - BUILD IT! (Day 6)
Secure tools, technology, and supplies
STEP SIX - ASSESSMENT AND EVALUATION (Day 7)
Design assessments for activities (should happen earlier)
Consider program review and evaluation schedule and measurements
