Due to the current situation in Haiti, we have removed all photographs and identifying information of our sponsored students and partners from this website and social media accounts. We are praying that conditions will improve in the future and we will be able to once again share photos with you. In the meantime, we are continuing our work in support of education, helping to keep a local clinic open, and are increasing our distributions of rice and beans. Our friends in Haiti need help more now than ever.

Education is a great financial burden for many Haitian families, particularly for those that are living in rural areas. Parents often have to make extremely difficult decisions, like choosing whether to buy food or to pay for school.

Building Hope In Haiti, Inc. believes that education is the key to a better future.

We have a strong commitment to the families we serve. They live in a rural mountain community that has no running water or electricity, with very few opportunities for employment.

Education can help break the cycle of poverty for these children and their families. The majority of our sponsored students attend the local school.

Our Mission:

Building Hope in Haiti is working to provide hope to people living in extreme poverty through academic sponsorships, food distributions, rebuilding, and access to medical care.
