How Donations Are Used

All donations are tax deductible. Building Hope In Haiti is a 501(c)(3) organization.

100% of donations to Building Hope In Haiti are used to support the academic sponsorship program, rebuilding efforts, rice and beans distributions, keeping the free clinic open, and other critical immediate needs as they arise.

Our Board Members volunteer their time and receive no financial compensation for their services.

Your donations are primarily used to pay for tuition, books, uniforms and school supplies. They also help us with operational expenses like hosting our website, critical program supports (ex. tutoring, our Haitian partners, etc.), and fundraising events. These expenses are key to our on-going operations and help keep Building Hope In Haiti running.

Feed the Children!

Haiti is facing a humanitarian crisis greater than ever before. The political unrest, gang activity, fuel shortages, inflation, and cholera have made everyday life nearly impossible. Your donation will help provide much needed beans and rice to our friends on the mountain. "The people are hungry" is what we are hearing from our partners in Haiti.

We feel pretty discouraged right now. Everything seems so overwhelming and hopeless, but one thing we can do is help provide much-needed food for the community. 100% of your donations will go directly to filling the bellies of our students and their families.
