Rationalising Cut Lengths with Dynamo

Here's how Dynamo can be used to rationalise the cut lengths of roof cladding to reduce wastage.

1. Assign a rounding (i.e. to the nearest 1000mm)

The smaller the rounding, the higher the number of unique cut lengths.

2. Dynamo assigns a reference to the beams depending on their cut length.

Then you can tag and schedule these rounded cut lengths.
