*How can we better understand the complexity of culture(s) and avoid cross-cultural “collisions?”
*How does our nation’s history of intolerance and racism continue to affect us today?
*How are “-ism’s” formed and how are they perpetuated?
*What are the differences between prejudice and racism and how are they manifested in our communities?
*What are the privileges of a dominant culture and how is intolerance internalized within “minority” groups?
*How has racism affected you, regardless of your skin color?
*How aware is your organization(s) of the dynamics and systemic nature of intolerance and racism?
*What might be the next steps you or your institution could consider to become more culturally competent?
