人手一支iPhone的年代，或許很難想像，當年一捲錄音帶，就能消磨一整天的時光。這次我們將透過主題歌曲、口述紀錄等等媒介，帶領大家用最純粹的感官體驗，進入時光隧道，重回當年那個，簡單卻又樸實的歲月。

In an era where everyone has an iPhone on hand, it may be hard to imagine that back then, we can spend an entire day listening a cassette tape. This time, we will use various type of media such as theme songs and narratives to guide everyone into the tunnel of time, returning to those simple yet genuine years.

「台灣菜」是什麼，估計大多數台灣人也說不上來。但講到眷村菜，獨特的歷史背景與多樣複雜的文化，眷村菜除了平易近人，更多了些勤儉克難的特質。我們這次將透過匠心獨運的方式，將眷村菜帶入家家戶戶的廚房中。

《寶島一村》藉由一個時代、三個家庭的故事，帶觀眾進入那個雖顛沛流離、彼此卻守望相助的美好時代。當演員在舞臺上，用不同的生活經驗與各自家鄉的口音，讀著同樣的台詞時，那段台詞便會從一句話、一個故事、一段歷史，成為觀眾獨一無二的回憶。

"The Village" takes the audience into a beautiful era of turbulence and mutual assistance through the stories of one era and three families. When actors, on stage, read the same lines with different life experiences and accents from their hometown, those lines become unique memories, evolving from a sentence, a story, to a piece of history.

在物資短缺的年代，「眷補證」是衡量一個家庭配給物資的指標。而除了融合中國大江南北之長的麵食文化，美援麵粉袋做成的衣物，也是眷村文化的獨特印記。西雅圖本地的手工藝術家將領觀眾們，翻玩麻袋衣物的概念，打造獨一無二的手工Ｔ恤。

In that era of scarce resources, the "Food Stamp" was the indicator of a family's supply of goods. In addition to the integration of China's rich noodle culture, clothing made from American aid flour sacks also left a unique mark on the culture of military dependents' villages. A local artist in Seattle will lead audiences in reinterpreting the concept of burlap clothing, handcrafting unique T-shirts.
