The world has been altered by nuclear, chemical, biological, and genetic wars. Civilization crumbled centuries ago...no one is exactly sure how long it's been. The ruins of the Ancients are full of the Ancients' marvels, but also many dangers. You are a scavenger and explorer of this weird, wasted world. You might be a mutated human, animal, or plant, or possibly a pure strain human with greater access to the Ancients' artifacts.Â
Search the ruins of Harkendoom and see what glories you can find...or maybe get disintegrated by a rampaging warbot or turned to goo by a strange mutated creature. If you're lucky, you'll make it out alive with some Ancient Tech and return to your settlement as a hero.
Warnings: Typical RPG violence, potential for mild body horror, a callous disregard for the protagonization of your PC
Notes: This is an old school ruin crawl. There's no plot other than look around, try to find loot, and survive the horrors and strange situations. Things could easily end in a TPK, but it should be a blast to play along the way.
