Citizenship of the Grand Duchy of Bruskaria establishes an individual's formal membership within the Bruskarian state.
Bruskarian citizenship may be acquired through birth or through an approved application. Bruskaria permits dual and multiple citizenship, and therefore becoming a Bruskarian citizen does not require an individual to renounce any other citizenship or micronational affiliation.
Becoming a Citizen
There are currently two principal methods through which Bruskarian citizenship may be acquired:
Citizenship by Birth
A person may acquire Bruskarian citizenship by birth where the requirements established under Bruskarian law are fulfilled.
Citizenship obtained by birth does not require the individual to submit an ordinary citizenship application.
Citizen by Application
Foreign nationals and other eligible persons may voluntarily apply for citizenship of Bruskaria.
Applications are reviewed by the appropriate Bruskarian authorities and may be accepted or rejected in accordance with applicable citizenship laws and regulations.
Dual and Multiple Citizenship
The Grand Duchy of Bruskaria recognizes and permits dual and multiple citizenship.
A Bruskarian citizen may therefore simultaneously possess citizenship of Denmark, another internationally recognized state, or another micronation, provided that doing so does not otherwise violate Bruskarian law.
Rights of Citizens
Citizens of Bruskaria are entitled to the rights and liberties guaranteed to them under the Constitution and laws of the Grand Duchy.
Responsibilities of Citizens
Citizens are expected to:
Obey the Constitution and laws of Bruskaria.
Respect the lawful rights and property of others.
Comply with lawful order issued by competent authorities.
Fulfil any legal obligations applicable to them as citizens.
Refrain from falsely representing the authority of the Bruskarian government.

Citizenship Identification
Citizens of Bruskaria may be registered within the official Register of Citizens and issued Bruskarian identification.
Each registered citizen is assigned an individual Perznregistretzan number (Personregistration number), which is used for identification within Bruskarian government records.
