A Bay Area Youth Environmental Mural Project

Brushstrokes for the Bay is Eco Innovate's sister initiative. Started in 2025, we aim to paint murals that highlight environmental issues through storytelling all over the Bay Area! We hope that these artworks will continue to perpetuate the Eco Innovate mission and act as public platforms for environmental educational and action. We are always on the lookout for potential mural sites and would greatly appreciate any help! Look below for some ways YOU can contribute!

Winter Art Competition is Open!

Brushstrokes for the Bay is so excited to host our first Art Competition! Middle schoolers are eligible and encouraged to participate. Three winners will be chosen to win a $40 cash prize, and chosen entries will be featured in a gallery.

Theme: Winter is often experienced through the warmth, joy, and coziness of a home. How can small acts of kindness help protect the place we call home?

Tip: Acts of kindness can be towards nature, the community, and/or the planet

Due date: Accepting Rolling Submissions until 1/31/2026

Eligibility: Must be in 6th-8th grade (Middle School)
