Welcome to Brooks Elementary! We’re so glad you’re here. Start by joining the PTA, checking the calendar, and following us on social media. From there, you can get involved as much or as little as works for your family. Have a question we didn't answer? Contact us - we'd be happy to help!
The Brooks Elementary PTA is a group of parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members working together to support our students and school. We help fund and organize school events, enrichment activities, classroom support, teacher appreciation, and other programs that make the Brooks experience even better for our students and families. Check out our homepage for more details.
Stay connected through the Brooks Elementary school calendar, PTA calendar, emails (make sure you're signed up to receive emails from the school), and social media (Facebook and Instagram). We’ll share upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, and important PTA updates through these channels.
Make sure you’re signed up to receive emails from the school and you’ll receive PTA emails and announcements. PTA members will also receive direct emails from the PTA with member only updates and information.
Yes! Our PTA newsletter is sent through the school’s email system. Just make sure you’re signed up to receive school emails, and you’ll receive the PTA newsletter. It comes from IPSD 204 - No Reply <no-reply@ipsd.org>. You can also find past newsletters on our website.
There are lots of ways to connect with other Brooks families! Join us at PTA meetings, school events, volunteer, or get involved with a PTA activity.
We also have grade-level chats where parents can connect and share information. If you’d like to join your child’s grade-level chat and aren’t already in it, email us, and we’ll get you connected!

PTA meetings are a great way to stay informed about what's happening at Brooks. We typically discuss how PTA funds are being spent, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and other ways to get involved. We also hear a Principal's update about what's happening at the school. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other Brooks parents and have some face time with the principal.
No! You do not have to be a PTA member to volunteer. We welcome any Brooks parent, caregiver, or family member who would like to help.
Not at all! PTA membership does not require you to volunteer. You can join simply to support the PTA and our school. We'd always welcome and love for you to though!
