Swimmers from ages 5 – 17 (as of May 1st) who can successfully swim 25 metres are eligible to join the club but the minimum requirement for all swimmers to participate in competitions is completion of Swim Alberta’s Competition Swim Test. The Barracudas membership is capped at around 50 swimmers, based on pool and coach availability. Practices will be held on weeknights, Monday through Friday, between 4:00 - 5:30 pm from May 1st to May 29th. Once swim meets begin swimmers will swim Monday through Thursday from June 1st- 30th. Summer swim hours begin July 2nd from 9 to 10:30am.
$425 - Junior Swimmers, 45 minutes, 5 days per week, May and 4 days per week, June/ July
$475 - Intermediate Swimmers, 1 hour, 5 days per week in May and 4 days per week June/July
$550 - Senior Swimmers, 1.5 hours, 5 days per week in May and 4 days per week June/July
In an attempt to keep swim fees lower we rely on club fundraisers to cover the cost of pool rental, training equipment and fees for the club to exist within Swim Alberta.
Fees can be paid by e-transfer to brooksbarracudasswimclub@gmail.com. Payment of fees may be split into two payments, 50% is due and payable with registration and the remaining 50% is due April 1st.
