Go to Member login and sign in with email address and password that Swim Alberta sent, at the request of the Officials Coordinator.
Email the Officials Coordinator at least 2 weeks before a swim meet to confirm you are interested.
A request will be sent to the Meet Manager to assign you with an experienced Official.
Come prepared - please print off a copy of the Officials Certification Card to obtain Referee signature at the end of your mentor shift.
All Officials positions, require you to complete two deck evaluations.
Again, email the Officials Coordinator 2 weeks before a swim meet to confirm availability.
A request will be sent to the Meet Manager.
Depending on the Officials position, there may be loads of spots to fill or there maybe one spot to fill. A request to the Meet Manager does NOT guarantee that you will fill that spot.
The Officials Coordinator will contact you a few days before the swim meet to confirm you have a shift.
Ensure you have had your Officials Certification card signed by Referee.
One mentor shift and two deck evaluations.
Send a scanned copy of the card to the Officials Coordinator who will update your Swim Alberta Officials record. Congratulations on becoming a certified official!
