Course Outcomes

• Know the theoretical basis for student involvement and effective organization advising.
• Be aware of trends, issues, and problems institutions face when working with traditional college students.

Assignments

Purpose: Create a new student organization that you will be advising and discuss your personal advising philosophy and project reflection.

Guideline: Include in your portfolio: Name of organization, mission statement, charter, budget, schedule, recruitment plan, and reflection.
