This is the first in a series of social justice modules. Follow the prompts to watch videos and read articles regarding social justice issues in the Canadian sports community. You will find opportunities to REFLECT and research about particular topics, sharing your thoughts and findings with your classmates.
The goal is to think critically about how sports and society connect. You will find that the sports community and society often overlap and clash when it comes to matters of social justice.
Keep an open mind and be prepared to take a hard look at the athletic communities to which you belong.
