Rebuilding Our Legacy

The Chapter Reactivation initiative is a bold commitment to revive dormant chapters, expand our regional footprint, and ensure that every brother has a chapter to call home. Through a structured leadership model and dedicated advisory teams, we’re building a sustainable support system that empowers both alumni and undergraduates.

The Strategy

•  Establish a tiered leadership structure through the Collegiate Affairs Organizational Chart.

•  Introduce Area Directors of Collegiate Affairs (Area DOCAs) to oversee chapter development and advisory support.

•  Area DOCAs serve as the liaison between the Regional DOCA and local advisory teams, ensuring consistent communication and accountability.

•  Graduate Chapter Advisory Teams provide hands-on, day-to-day support to undergraduate chapters.

Budget & Funding

•  $2,000 annual budget per chapter for Advisory Teams.

•  $5,000 annual budget for each Area DOCA to support travel, training, and chapter development.

•  Funded through the Miss Phi Beta Sigma Pageant, and long-term grants and alumni contributions.

Expected Outcomes

•  Reactivation of dormant chapters and increased chapter retention.

•  Stronger mentorship, communication, and accountability.

•  A scalable leadership pipeline that grows with the region.

•  A model of excellence that can be replicated across the fraternity.
