Skills like adjusting color modes, resizing for output, and compositing images are essential for real-world marketing, branding, and media design. These techniques will allow me to craft polished graphics for both digital platforms and print publications.

In this project, I explored how color modes and resolution affect image output for different print and digital formats. Using Adobe Photoshop, I captured and edited a personal photo to create multiple output-ready versions. This included converting the image for CMYK, Grayscale/K-Only, and Multichannel outputs. Each version was resized and adjusted to the proper resolution and file type based on industry standards, 300 dpi for high-quality print and 150 dpi for grayscale. The final deliverables demonstrated my ability to apply technical production skills for various professional print scenarios.
This assignment focused on mastering Photoshop’s layering techniques to create composite images. I used public domain images to place a squirrel onto the background of a stage, playfully imagining the squirrel performing stand-up comedy. This humorous concept allowed me to explore creative storytelling through visual design. I practiced using selection tools, layer masks, and blending techniques to seamlessly integrate the subject into the new environment. This project emphasized visual storytelling, technical editing, creative problem-solving, and hands-on experimentation with Photoshop’s tools and features.
