Two out of five of the past Governors of Sierra have served full terms. This is clearly not an acceptable standard that the voters of Sierra should hold the chief executive of the Sierran state government to, and come Election Day, the Sierran people should not accept a continuation of the status quo attitude towards the Office of Governor.
If elected to the position of Governor of Sierra, Speaker Brilliam J. Chaotic will serve with pride and dignity in an office sullied by inappropriate behavior and unacceptable status quo for a full term, a term filled with productive and substantial progress towards 'Revitalizing Sierra, the American Way'.
Without an updated state constitution, the State of Sierra and its citizens stand at risk of having their civil liberties flagrantly violated by the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the Sierran state government.
In order to prevent this potential for tyranny against Sierrans statewide, and to truly represent every corner of the State of Sierra under a single flag, a Governor Chaotic will work diligently with the Sierran Assembly to draft and pass the first update to the state constitution in no less than two years, as outlined in SR-06-15, or the 'State of Sierra Constitutional Review' Resolution.
By drafting and adopting a simpler and modern state constitution for the State of Sierra, every Sierran citizen will be represented in the creation of the document that will secure their liberties on a state level, specifically those rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that otherwise are mired in confusing legalism and overwhelming statutes as it stands.
Proportional state legislature districts and constitutional recognition of the status of provinces in the State of Sierra are just a few of the steps to be taken in easing the overbearing nature of the Sierran state government when applying its policies to the provincial, local, and municipal level.
If elected to the position, a Governor Brilliam J. Chaotic will seek to hear from all Sierrans no matter where they may be their questions, comments, or concerns by establishing a statewide question and answer website for the first thirty days in office, while also encouraging Sierran Assemblymen to visit their respective constituencies, and often.
He will also carry on his tradition of 'Citizen's Forums' started while serving as Speaker of the Assembly, with the intention of personally discussing with communities that make up the proud State of Sierra, using technology and trust to build a clear line of communication between Sacramento and everywhere else.
