2026 Season 

You must register to tryout.  Consult the FAQ tab for additional information.

We have 4 skill levels: Developmental, Blue (Novice), Black (Proficient), and Green (Advanced).   Learn more about the skills here:  LINK

You do not need to be a fast swimmer in order to join the team, but we do have a minimum skills standard to ensure everyone is safe.  As a result, we have tryouts in order to assess swimmer's skills and ensure they are placed appropriately in a practice group according to their ability.   

• Returning team members do not need to try out unless they want to switch groups.  

Tryout Dates & Times:  TO BE CONFIRMED BASED ON POOL OPENING DATE

Show up anytime in the hour.  Your swimmer can warm up or practice for the tryouts.  When they are ready, alert one of the organizers.  The actual tryout will last about 5 min per swimmer.

• Meet Sign-Ups & Volunteering

  • Swimmers must RSVP for each meet if they are attending or not.

  • We can't have a meet with out Volunteers!  Most meet jobs don't require any experience.  Parents with participating swimmers at the meet are expected to volunteer.

• About Meets

  • Developmental swimmers swim assisted the full length of the pool

  • Age group swimmers are able to swim 3 events (strokes) per meet

  • All meets use paper for scoring

• Meet Timelines

Times are estimated, we post timelines when we have them from our host teams.  

Saturday Morning Meets - expect early an early start around 7-8am  and end around 12pm

Wednesday/Sunday Evening Meet - expect to start the meet around 4-5pm and end around 9pm

Practice Dates:

TO BE CONFIRMED BASED ON POOL OPENING DATE  May 18 - July 3; no practice Memorial Day or Independence Day

Days of the Week

• Monday - Thursday

• We encourage swimmers to practice up to 3x a week

Practice Time: 4pm - Close 

• Developmental: 4:30pm - 5:00pm - starting May 28

• Blue (Novice): 5:15pm - 6:00pm 

• Black (Proficient): 6:10pm - 7:10pm

• Green (Advanced): 7:15pm - 8:15pm 

Morning Practices (starting week of June 15)

• Blue, Black, Green groups together working on starts, turns, finishes:  7:30am – 8:30am
