Program Philosophy

Our Philosophy:

 At our center, the goal is to provide developmentally appropriate spaces and activities that promote the development of the entire child: social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and self-regulation. Families, their cultures, and the community in which we live will be present throughout the center.

 Our Vision:

 The vision of our center is for all children to feel valued and respected and for cultures and communities to be celebrated and valued.

Our Mission:

 Our mission is to develop well-rounded children by providing opportunities to play, experiment, ask questions, explore, make mistakes, and learn and grow with those around them.

 Our program follows a constructivist approach, meaning we believe our children learn best through play and hands-on experiences (Gadzikowski, 2019, section 1.4).
