Stone walls, with rubble fill, make good places to find potsherds and animal bones dating from 2100 BC through the early Roman and Carthagenian periods.
Some of us found pottery sherds, mostly classical. Others found animal bones. Or lambs. But In other Earthwatch groups, sherds have been found of pottery dating back to the so-called "beaker" period, roughly the time of Stonehenge and/or the other henges found throughout Europe.
