Interested in learning about using a GPS app on your phone?  

A map of our trails is available at the kiosk for $2.00

A GPS map of our trail system is available to download to your gps unit or cell phone.  You will need an app to use on your phone.  You might try CalTopo which is free. 

How to BEFORE YOU ARRIVE AT CAMPGROUND:

1) Download the GPX file to your phone (know the location on your phone where you download the file)

 2) Download, Install and open the Caltop app

 3) On the menu on the top of the app you will see a folder with a + Click this and Map Items will open

4) Locate the downloaded GPX file, click it and Importer will want to import the GPX file.  Click Import.  The map of the Anita Alta Shared use trails will now be installed on the CalTopo app.  Using your finger move the map around to the location of Anita Alta.  There you will see the trail map.

5)  When at the campground, open Caltopo and click the symbol at the bottom left of the screen that looks like a target.  App will show you where you are.  As you ride the app will show your location on the trail as you go!


You will need a paper map to learn the names of the trails and to see the entire system at one time.
